Hi, I’m Nick—the bride’s nephew and godson—and I’m truly honored to be part of such an important day. My aunt has been a steady, loving presence throughout my life, so standing with her as she celebrates this next chapter means more than I can say. Over the years, Dickson and I have shared plenty of conversations about cooking, recipes, and food worth arguing over, and it didn’t take long to see that he fits seamlessly into our family. I’m also a flight instructor, so if the celebration inspires anyone to take off after the reception, I’m your guy!

I’m Ava, Amanda’s niece, and I am so so excited to be a part of her and Dickson’s big day! My Aunt Amanda is someone who I have always been able to look up to because of her faith and kindness she shows to everyone! Dickson especially is such a bright light every time I get to see him and I’m so grateful that he and Amanda have found one another. Their shared interests, and love for one another is heartwarming to witness. I can’t wait to see you all at the wedding and celebrate the newlyweds!

I’m Alex, the groom’s nephew, and I’m excited to be part of Uncle Dickson and Amanda’s big day. Growing up, I spent a lot of time around my uncle, and some of my favorite memories with him are cooking together and hanging out at family get-togethers. Whether we were making a meal, trying something new in the kitchen, or just talking while we cooked, it was always a good time.
One thing I’ve always appreciated about Uncle Dickson is that he’s easy to talk to and always knows how to make people feel welcome. He’s the kind of person who can turn a simple family gathering into a fun memory and always finds a way to bring everyone together.
It’s been really cool watching him and Amanda build a life together, and I’m happy to be part of this next chapter with them. I’m looking forward to celebrating with family, making more memories, and being there on such a special day.

I’m the groom’s nephew, and I’ve been lucky to grow up spending a lot of time with Uncle Dickson over the years. Some of my favorite memories are our camping trips with the guys, hanging out around the campfire, cooking meals together, and just enjoying being outdoors. No matter what we were doing, there was always a lot of laughing, good food, and stories that somehow got better every time they were told.
One thing I’ve always appreciated about my uncle is how he brings people together. Whether it’s a family gathering, a camping trip, or just getting everyone together for a meal, he has a way of making people feel welcome and making sure everyone has a good time. He’s always been someone people enjoy being around because of his sense of humor, love for adventure, and how much he cares about family and friends.
I’m really excited to be part of Uncle Dickson and Amanda’s wedding day. It’s been great watching their relationship grow, and I couldn’t be happier for them as they start this next chapter together.
